Ribeauvillé stands on the bright side of the Alsatian vineyard and here is why:
The town has kept parts of the original battlements and a number of its defensive towers which tops are today nesting places for storks. While trying to spot them, you can also walk around authentic narrow medieval streets lined with charming old-stoned and beautifully flowered half-timbered houses that date back to the 16th and the 18th centuries.
The spellbinding nature of Ribeauvillé also comes from its situation at the foot of the Taennchel massif and an exceptional wine landscape overlooked by the three medieval castles of the Sire de Ribeaupierre, and at the crossroads of the Alsace wine route.
And we are here, at the heart of this spectacular scenery, ready to welcome you at the Gîte Alsacien!
We are all the time available for you and keeping a close watch to see that all goes well. We can provide you with many an address from our favourite list: we have known and loved this region for so long that it no longer bears any secrets to us! Needless to say that your stay would start with a getting-to-know-each-other glass of Gewurtzstraminer!
You would then enjoy a few magic moments inside this typical house, the one to spend vacation time while discovering the palette of alsatian colours, all along the seasons.
You would appreciate the romantic touch of the inner garden where you could lunch and relax… one walking minute away from the pedestrian medieval center of Ribeauvillé, numerous trips and excursions, fine wine tastings. You might then also try all the culinary specialities (choucroute, baeckeoffe, tartes flambées) as well as the shopping opportunities, the balneotherapy, you name it….
Parking is not a problem at all: 200 free parking spaces (at times with a blue disc) are available across the streets to the Gîte. Access by car is easy whatever the season. Free short parking time outside the Gîte.
We can also offer mini-stays (3 nights at least) under special conditions. We propose several rental solutions, with or without bed sheets.

Our Gîte was renovated last Spring. We only used environmentally-friendly and non-allergenic materials.
We do not unfortunately allow pets inside the Gîte.
Please note that the house is a listed builing and that smoking is not allowed. However, a part of the inner garden is at the smokers’ disposal…
Our tariffs include the tourist tax as well as water and electricity. Please note that the housework fees are not included in the basic fare of the Gîte. You can then select the flat-cleaning option or choose to clean the flat by yourself. When heating is on (Oct-April), our tariffs do not cover the heating fees. Direct booking, commission-free and fee-free.
